The company planning to surface out of its stealth mode comes at an interesting time when the industry is witnessing a big shift in regards to combining SIEM with advanced analytics.

Given the fact that JASK’s products reside on the cloud, their installation doesn't necessitate any dedicated hardware or on-site personnel visit. It's just the platform and a few other downloadable software that go to work as soon as they get into a network. However, the real change starts appearing after 48 hours once the algorithms are done learning, and start delivering what the company promises. Unlike most other in the market, being SaaS derived allows JASK to ship updates and patches as soon as they are developed, mostly on a weekly basis. JASK’s product comes armed with two notable features, Smart Alert and Investigation. While Smart Alert helps an analyst focus on the attacks that matter the most, Investigation allows the analyst to dive deep into data sets and run reports and analyze attack trends at speeds not previously attainable.

Allowing a peek into JASK’s capabilities, Martin cites a hedge fund client that asked JASK for another layer of cyber security, in addition to its already present detection layers. The demand was for a product that could not only detect any anomalous behavior missed by the firewall but, could intercept breaches that bypass the client's existing security perimeter. "Once they had JASK deployed, they were able to detect a real threat involving data that was spiking out of their network to a risky foreign network. JASK’s software was not just able to detect the anomalies, but prioritize and bubble up the threat to their security team, allowing them to quickly track the issue down and figure out which user was behind it and what they were up to."

In a bid to be able to provide world-class cyber security solutions to its customers JASK has forged strategic partnerships with firms in the likes of Gigamon, Cloudera, and Amazon Web Services. The company previously raised seed capital led by Battery Ventures and Vertical Venture Partners, through which the company intends to pull together a world-class team of data scientists, Machine Learning and AI experts to offer a contrasting solution to its customers in the years to come.
